Key players join Prime’s Wealth and Superannuation team

Prime is very pleased to announce the arrival of two industry leaders in the SMSF sector, Olivia Long and Karen Dezdjek, who will be joining our Wealth and Superannuation division.

Olivia Long
Managing Director, Strategy and Operations

Prime Financial Group (ASX: PFG), has appointed Olivia Long as Managing Director, Strategy and Operations, of its Wealth and Superannuation division.

Long, who boasts more than two decades of management experience in the financial services sector, will be primarily responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of Prime’s market leading products and services, as well as helping to drive its marketing and public relations activity.

Long said: “It’s an exciting time to join Prime. As an integrated accounting, wealth management and capital advisory firm for business owners and family groups, it’s on a growth trajectory, with already more than $1.1 billion in funds under management.

“I am looking forward to bringing my varied experiences and knowledge of financial services to this new role, contributing to the group’s next growth phase by working closely with and as part of the leadership team to build Prime into the leading integrated advice firm of the future.

Before specialising in self-managed superannuation, Olivia spent seven years with Ord Minnett stockbrokers, responsible for HR, marketing, compliance and administration management.

Karen Dezdjek
Director

Prime Financial Group (ASX: PFG) has appointed Karen Dezdjek as Director, Wealth & Superannuation within its Wealth and Superannuation division.

Karen is responsible for all aspects of new SMSF business partnerships; from handling new business enquiries, presenting at industry events and seminars through to the preparation and delivery of strategic SMSF advice for new partnerships and managing the SMSF team.

A certified practicing accountant, Karen is also a SMSF Specialist adviser (SSA), has completed the certificate in Self Managed Superannuation through the University of Adelaide and has completed the RG146 qualification.

Karen brings to the team over 20 years’ experience in the accounting industry enjoying the past 10 years specialising in self-managed superannuation.

Karen has in-depth experience in dealing with a spectrum of clients and advisory firms in relation to their specific superannuation administration and compliance requirements. She is a highly regarded speaker and regularly presents seminars across the country.
