PRIME FINANCIAL GROUP RUNS ‘WEALTH PLANNING & PROTECTION’ SESSION FOR WILLIAMSTOWN FOOTBALL CLUB ‘SEAGULLS’ PLAYERS
Investing into the financial future of Williamstown Seagulls Football Players
Two (2) of Prime Financial Group’s (Prime) Senior Financial Advisers, Marcus Ainger and Cameron Morcher, are invited by the Seagulls coach and former premiership champion, Andrew Collins, to help educate his players on money and wealth building and protection strategies as part of the clubs focus on player wellbeing and financial future security.
The player session is to be held at the historic Williamstown Football Club’s grounds following the player’s training session with coach, Andrew Collins.
The Williamstown Seagulls this season are boosting their commitment to the development of their young players, leveraging the services of their newest sponsor, Prime.
As part of the new sponsorship, Prime will be offering the players the opportunity to meet with Senior Advisers for education sessions to inform each player on strategies to manage important wealth management decisions.
‘Beyond AFL, we have also had players with strong work ethic and dedication that have gone on to success in the business world, so the solid financial grounding will be beneficial for all the players and their families in the future’, said Andrew Collins.
With the period of their peak earnings often short-lived, Simon Madder, Prime CEO, understands why professional sportspeople require a more comprehensive approach to personal finance than the rest of us.
‘We’re trying to set them up with some financial goals and a lot of feedback to help them improve their financial understanding to take with them into future financial decisions.’
