Dear JV Partners,
The month of March has been, as many commentators have said, unprecedented, as the effects of COVID-19 are becoming more widely known on the health and safety of the world and closer to home to us as Australians.
We at Prime sincerely hope that you, your family, friends and team have remained safe and the combined impact on their and your health as well as the economic impact has thus far been manageable.
As I pen this note the information flow and negative news continues to come thick and fast as governments and health authorities struggle with appropriate responses to flatten the curve and cushion the inevitable economic impacts on us all already being reflected in world stockmarkets and personal livelihoods.
In these very difficult times the advice and support that you and we provide as professionals, employers, family and community members is significant and we hope that you feel we are there to support you and your clients as much as possible.
We have endeavoured to be very communicative with clients and yourself in March in terms of views on markets and advice plus how relief packages can be applied. We are in unchartered territory, as the Prime Minister has rightly said, but a lesson we learnt during the GFC, which initiated our Weekly Market Update to calm clients and keep them informed, is that in times like this there is no such thing as overcommunication.
In this month’s discussion points we have outlined some of the more recent communications, which are ongoing, however if there is anything additional you would like us to address please just let us know.
We are a resilient mob us Australians, whom as a part of a global community will no doubt play our role, we hope to be part of helping Australians through to the other side and ultimately a brighter future but it will be a tough period of time for so many and we will do our absolute best to help as many people as possible, that is our promise to you as our Partners.
Stay safe, please call if you need anything and best to you and your closest.
