Prime’s International Growth SMA is designed to provide exposure to international equity markets by way of high-quality third party funds management groups, and is suitable for investors seeking access to portfolio diversity (economic, political etc) and growth offered by international equity markets.
The Prime International Growth SMA is founded on Prime’s high conviction investment philosophy, relative to geographic benchmarks and with cost-efficiency in mind.

What are the Investor Benefits?
What is the SMAs Methodology for Composition?
The MSCI World Index is the premier international equity benchmark country exposure (US 60%, Japan 9%, UK 8%, Switzerland / France / Germany 4%, Canada 3%). It is a ‘developed market’ index, and is heavily biased to those markets deemed to be developed, so emerging market exposure is negligible, that is , no exposure to countries like Brazil, India, China, Korea etc).
As the international exposure is heavily skewed to developed markets (quality), we feel a strict adherence to MSCI World is likely to ignore significant future growth in BRIC countries where they make up 30% of the world GDP, we will allocate exposure to the Asian region via the Platinum Asia fund.
