Beyond the devastating narrative post the Parisian terror attacks, the big story in international finance this week was the release of the US Federal Reserve minutes from its previous meeting.

The minutes made it seem almost assured that the Fed see reason to raise US interest rates for the first time in nearly 10 years at its next meeting on December the 17th.

Despite the significant policy change this will invoke, markets have well and truly anticipated this move and the rise in global share markets post the release demonstrate that.
