Background on iNSPIRETEK, what you do and your journey to date?

Annie Flamsteed: iNSPIRETEK is a Brisbane based health tech company focused on driving positive behavior change, with a vision to change the future of sport by improving the mental health and wellbeing of young athletes and students around the globe.

As a former competitive gymnast, I chose to exit the sport in my late teens due in part to the high pressure placed on elite athletes and the subsequent impact this had on my mental health. I went on to study medicine, before pivoting into health tech, which led to the founding iNSPIRETEK in 2019.

Now as founder and CEO, alongside a global team of expert staff and experienced advisors, we have developed a suite of products that work together to drive positive change at a critical period in an athlete’s life. Our highly affordable solution.

What has been your experience working with the Prime Accounting and Business Advisory team over the last 3 years?

Annie Flamsteed: In addition to providing compliance services including income tax compliance, R&D and EMDG – via the virtual CFO role Prime accounting has been integral to our business operations, particularly through our seed funding raise in 2021. Sean Fincham and the team are readily available to provide vital support and knowledge.

How have you benefited from the expertise of the Prime team?

Annie Flamsteed: Prime has been instrumental in the development of our revenue strategies, both short and long term. As a SaaS structured tech company we have tried a number of revenue models, and through Sean’s experience we have scaled faster and more confidently.

What is next on the iNSPIRETEK journey?

Annie Flamsteed: With the success of our Seed round, we were able to create a sustainable runway for domestic scale. Now, to support our expansion into new markets and international regions, we have begun raising capital for our Series A. With interest from both Australian and international VCs we are looking forward to closing the round and turning attention to our rapid expansion.
